4. Confidentiality

  • Unauthorized disclosure is prohibited and may lead to disciplinary action.

5. Responsible Social Media Usage

  • Social media posts by team members should reflect personal viewpoints unless officially stated otherwise.
  • Posts must remain professional, respectful, and compliant with company policies.
  • Inaccuracies should be corrected swiftly if they arise.

6. Plagiarism & Fairness in Reporting

  • We uphold originality—strictly avoiding plagiarism or passing off others’ work as our own.
  • Stories are reported impartially, presenting multiple perspectives and offering right of reply when necessary.

7. Transparency & Accountability

  • We disclose ownership, funding sources, partnerships, and potential conflicts clearly to readers.
  • Errors are promptly acknowledged and corrected with appropriate notices (see our Correction Policy).

8. Professional Conduct & Compliance

  • Any violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to termination.
  • Employees are encouraged to report ethical concerns—retaliation against whistleblowers is strictly prohibited.

9. Ongoing Awareness and Training

  • Regular training on laws, journalistic ethics, privacy, child protection, defamation, and copyright will be provided.
  • We reinforce compliance with DNPA guidelines around sensitive reporting, such as communal matters, sexual crimes, and minors.
