India’s group and qualification route

India U19 Asia Cup 2026 fixtures
| Date | Opponent | Venue |
|---|---|---|
| 6 November | Nepal | OCC Turf 1, Muscat |
| 8 November | Pakistan | OCC Turf 1, Muscat |
| 10 November | UAE | OCC Turf 2, Muscat |
The semi-finals are scheduled for 12 November and the final for 14 November.
Why the Pakistan match will draw the most attention
India versus Pakistan is usually the most closely followed group-stage fixture, even at age-group level. For this tournament, the match is also strategically important because only two sides from the group progress. A strong result on 8 November could significantly shape the semi-final race.
Players to note
The squad includes two wicketkeeping options in Anvay Dravid and Rajat Baghel, while the leadership group is headed by Raichandani and Chauhan. The selection gives India flexibility across a short tournament in which teams play three group matches in five days.
What happens next
India begin against Nepal on 6 November, then face Pakistan on 8 November before closing the group stage against hosts UAE on 10 November. Because the tournament moves quickly, early results will matter and there is little recovery time between matches.
